Eva Braun & Her Dogs

Eva Braun & Her Dogs
Eva Anna Paula Braun (1912-1945) was Adolf Hitler’s mistress from 1932 until one day before he and she committed suicide in the Fuhrerbunker in May 1945. For several years Eva also enjoyed the company of her two small Scottish Terriers, ‘Negus’ & ‘Stasi’ and would take them everywhere with her. When she stayed at Hitler’s mountain retreat, the Obersalzberg Eva would often be seen in the ‘Dirndl’, the traditional female dress worn in Austria, South Tyrol and Bavaria. That is how K&C have depicted her... together with her two little ‘Scotty dogs’.

Horst Wessel

Horst Wessel
A Berlin ‘tough-guy’ and petty criminal... his star rose rapidly in the SA (Sturmabteilung) and he became well-known to the Police, fellow comrades of the SA and, of course, to his enemies, the Communists. In February 1930 his enemies caught up with him and he was shot by two left wing assassins. After his death he was promoted by Josef Goebbels, Berlin’s Gauleiter, as a ‘martyr’ to the Nazi cause and celebrated in words and music by a specially composed song “The Horst Wessel Lied” which during the Nazi years became almost a second National Anthem to “Deutschland Uber Allies” (Germany Above All). Here, Wessel strides confidently forward, right hand adopting the ‘half-Hitler’ salute favoured by some Nazi Leaders and their acolytes.

SS Fahnenträger

SS Fahnenträger
In 1936 the SS purchased a small porcelain factory to, in the words of Reichsfuhrer SS Himmler, “enhance the culture of the SS state!” It was called “Allach Porcelain”. Between 1936 and 1945 the factory produced numerous decorative items including animals, home décor of all descriptions and, of course, figurines. Military figures were among the most sought after and one of the best was the Allach figure of the “SS Fahnentrager” (SS Flag Bearer) introduced in 1936. This special piece was not available to the general public but only available as a special ‘Presentation Gift’ by the Reichsfuhrer himself. Our new model is a scale copy of this very special figure.

"H. Himmler in Lederhosen"
Next to the Führer the most likely candidate to accompany Adolf into the woods was his trusted Reichsfuhrer SS, Heinrich Himmler. Of all the leading Nazis, Herr Himmler was the one who most enjoyed the long mountain walks in the fresh Alpine air listening to the future plans of the future Führer. - See more at: http://www.kingandcountry.com/lederhosen-heini-p-10682.html#sthash.fZIZTI4n.dpuf

Two of the most dangerous characters in the Nazi Hierarchy... and the most well-known (after Hitler) ... Reichsführer SS Heinrich Himmler and his deputy, SS Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich. Here we see the infamous pair in their pre war black SS uniforms... Himmler, in front saluting, Heydrich following close behind. Adolf Hitler... Deep in thought

Adolf Hitler... Deep in thought
For the Third Reich in the spring of 1945 desperation and defeat were staring them straight in the face... In the West, the Americans, British and Canadians were advancing steadily...In the East the Russians were almost within artillery distance of Berlin itself. Hitler had plenty to think about ... including his own demise... - See more at: http://www.kingandcountry.com/hitler-deep-thought-p-10081.html#sthash.4nJXVTl8.dpuf

Inspecting Germania

Inspecting Germania
Of prime importance in Hitler’s dreams was his wish to build not only a new capital for Germany...He wanted to build a new city that would be the capital of all of German-dominated Europe! And he was going to call it “GERMANIA”. Here, we see Hitler, together with his favourite architect Albert Speer overlooking a scale model of just part of their grandiose town-planning scheme for the bigger, better, bolder Berlin. The Fuhrer, leaning over the model, uses a magnifying glass to examine all the fine detail to ensure nothing has been left out... By his side stands the pensive (and proud) Speer happy to see his leader’s appreciation of his and his team’s work. Up until almost the final days of the Fall of Berlin one of Hitler’s favourite past times was to visit and inspect the many architectural models of “Germania”, his great capital city that would never be built!

The Black Heydrich

The Black Heydrich
SS-Obergruppenfuhrer Reinhard Heydrich was one of the most feared men in the Nazi Empire and one of the main architects of The Holocaust. Even Adolf Hitler described him as “The man with the iron heart”. In the SS he was number two to Reichsfuhrer Heinrich Himmler and the founding head of the SD (Sicherheitsdienst) the intelligence gathering organization set up to seek out and destroy any kind of opposition to the Nazi Party...both at home and abroad. In September 1941 he was appointed Reichsprotektor of Bohemia and Moravia, the former Czechoslovakia. On 27 May 1942 he was attacked and wounded by Czech parachutists sent by the Government in exile in London. He died from his wounds on 4 June 1942. A bloody retribution followed. This figure shows Heydrich in his prewar black SS uniform. - See more at: http://www.kingandcountry.com/black-heydrich-p-9218.html#sthash.EPA7Kyt5.dpuf

SS Obergruppenfuhrer Von Ribbentrop

SS Obergruppenfuhrer Von Ribbentrop
Joachim von Ribbentrop was Nazi Germany’s infamous Foreign Minister from 1938-1945. Before that he was a successful businessman and appointed German Ambassador to London in 1936. Many senior Nazi Party Leaders were given an “Honorary” rank in the SS by Reichsfuhrer Himmler himself. Foreign Minister von Ribbentrop was one such individual. It is said he took great pride in wearing the black uniform alongwith the medals he had won during the First World War and those awarded to him by the Nazi Party itself. He was one of the principal defendants at the Nuremburg War Crimes Tribunal in 1946...found guilty and subsequently hanged. - See more at: http://www.kingandcountry.com/obergruppenfuhrer-ribbentrop-p-9217.html#sthash.zy4nM8Ia.dpuf

Reichsfuhrer-SS Heinrich Himmler 1934
The 34 year old Himmler wears the standard black “Algemeine SS” uniform (designed by Hugo Boss) and peak cap. Of minor interest is that he still wears the brown SA shirt under the jacket – a symbol (but not for long) of the SS originally being an offshoot of the SA (Sturmabteilung).
